We're very sorry to hear about your grandfather. We're sure he would be proud of you...except maybe about the steak.

What a touching tribute to your Papa. He is so proud of you and will continue to help you on your journey as your energies merge.

I hope you are comforted by all the incredible years Poppa had. His life story is unlike any I've ever known. I feel truly blessed to have shared in love, laughter, story-telling, Church and the Golden Corral. I am especially thankful for the lunches that Poppa and Grandmama spent with Nicole and Miles at Clairs' summer program. The children were young but the life lessons from your grandparents and the other elders were invaluable. The children will hold these memories for their lifetime. God Bless you and your family.
