Happy Fall!

Chinese Goldenrain Tree
(drought-tolerant, blossoms yellow flowers in July and you get fall color!)

I love the Camus quote! Scott and Modi and I just came back from a walk -- is it my imagination or were the fruits and flowers in Denver much more plentiful this year than they usually are? Happy Fall to you too!

Nope, not your imagination! I think 6 feet of snow had it's payoff.

Exactly. All that extra moisture makes fall here more like home for me. Love it. I was just at a fruit-picking party at a friend's house. Tons of plums and grapes, some tomatoes, though the birds had run off with all the pears. And my neighbors are giving away peaches off their tree. Crazy! Love this photo, btw. I think I'm ready for fall; the slightly melancholic, let's hibernate and write all winter kind of mood is setting in. K.

Fall is my most favorite time of year. It's the whole back-to-school thing, the air smells like school. Just love it. Of course, I was always kind of a school junkie.

I'm just so happy it's not so blazing hot anymore!

R, you're going to like my book I think. My MC is a school junkie. :)
