Listen up!

There's going to be an audio book of Orange Mint and Honey!

Don't know who will read it - Angela Bassett are you out there?! - but it will be out April 1st.

This is one of the best things about getting published--random bits of unexpected joy.

Exactly! My editor just sent me a box of FREE books. It doesn't get better than that.

Oh that is so cool! Angela Bassett would be awesome! But I guess there are specific voice talents out there who do this for a living, right? How cool is that? Congratulations!

Awesome is definitely the word that comes to mind when one thinks of Angela Bassett. For many reasons! But yes, it'll probably be someone who does this for a living, and, therefore, I'm sure will do a wonderful job. I can't believe that one day I'll hear someone read my story to me! Such a strange and cool idea!

Hey Carleen, this is terrific! Congrats!

It's true, these kinds of unanticipated events are exactly what you say, "unexpected joy."

I'll be on audio, too--and haven't the slightest idea who will narrate, or who'd I'd choose for the job. John Elder Robison did his own (a memoir, so that's fitting).

But I want Kate Winslet to play my protagonist in the movie version, if ever there is one!
