January?

Yesterday it was in the 60s, as it was on January 29th 9 years ago--the day hubby and I tied the knot. Sustenance Scout asked me some time ago what I like best about Denver. I'd have to say getting t-shirt weather in January is right up there! As is the fact that this is the city that brought me my husband. Denver has been very, very good to me.

I took this in City Park (she's got a more colorful summer pic on her site). You can't tell from this snapshot, but the park was full of folks biking and walking, playing with kids and dogs. Everybody happy for the hint of spring in the air. I even stopped at City Floral to see if they had any pansies out. Not yet, but soon come.

Happy anniversary and the weather is fine, isn't it? Denver has been very, very good to me too. Congratulations on all the wonderful things that have happened while you've been here in Denver!

Happy anniversary! Is that a view of Denver and the park right as you come out of the science and history museum? Well, it was the science and history museum about 20 years ago anyway...maybe it's not any more. I have no idea!

Thanks, everyone!

Julie, yes. It's now called the Museum of Nature and Science (instead of the Natural History Museum).

Yes Happy (belated!) Anniversary, Carleen! Denver's been good to me, too; the hubby and I got engaged at the Broker Restaurant downtown on Valentine's Day 1989. We lived in Hartford, CT, back then and my mom thought it was so nice we had Denver as our "special city." Little did we know we'd eventually move to Denver and raise a family here.

Enjoying today's sun and bright blue sky after last night's snow! K.
