The Liar's Diary

I've ordered my copy. Have you?

More than 300 bloggers will be writing about Patry Francis and her novel, The Liar's Diary, today. So almost certainly you won't be able to avoid hearing about how Patry is being treated for cancer and, therefore, unable to tour to promote the paperback release.

I've written before about how much I appreciate my blogosphere friends. One small, easy-peasy way to pay it forward is to dedicate today's post to Patry and buy her book (like I needed an excuse!). If you have anything to pay forward (and who doesn't?), please do the same.

Patry is a wonderful person and I can tell you that THE LIAR'S DIARY is really a great book. I read it last year when it first came out and I was talking about it for days afterward. It really stayed with me. I love my blogging friends :)

I think this is a wonderful way to celebrate Patry and the launch of the paperback edition of her book. I saw this posted on Tara's blog at Paris Parfait and as you've talked about Patry before I had a strong, strong hunch you would be part of this wonderful showing of love Carleen!! I'm anxious now to read the book.

Today IS a celebration of writing, reading and creating alternatives -- i.e. promoting THE LIAR'S DIARY debut in its trade paperback edition.

It's an honor to be able to help Patry, a wonderful, warm and generous friend to so many of us. That's why I encourage those who have read/loved the novel to "gift" this new edition to one of your other friends.

Isn't the blogosphere a wonderful thing?!

Enjoy, Carleen! It's a terrific read. I was a little miffed that B&N didn't have it in stock when it was supposed to be on their New Arrivals table as of Tuesday. Guess I'll make a special trip to Tattered Cover to get my paperback edition! MEANWHILE, I just spotted a nice notice in the TC newsletter about your signing in February!! Still bummed I can't make it but I'm certain you'll have plenty of fans there to help you celebrate...let me know as soon as another signing is on the calendar! K.

I was at Borders today and was going to do a little "shelf elf," but The Liar's Diary was already face out! :)

SS, My events are up on my webpage. I'll be at West Side Books on March 8 and the Southglenn Library on April 16. Thanks for asking!
