Fuuny--I was just thinking about Jamaica Kincaid the other day. I really liked the book, Lucy.
Bah!!! I have Annie John sitting on my TBR stack and I would be so there -- but I have to be in DC on the 12th. Boo.
How interesting that I came here to read you tonight Carleen, and I was just in the library -- my arms were full and then I saw some Jamaica Kincaid books. Guess what I'm going to be doing tomorrow!!??
Are you going? I'm assuming you are going to hear this and will come back and tell us what it was like!
Lucky you! I wish I could go.
Amy
I'm off to check the calendar to see if I can make it, Carleen. Thanks so much for this post!! K.
I'm planning to be there...however Feb. 12 is my pub date and I've got plans ALL day long with friends. By that evening, I might need to stay home (and take some aspirin, if you catch my drift :-)).
I thought that date was familiar! As far as my calendar goes, I'm already booked so I'll be missing it too. I'm missing all your signings too, Carleen, so we definitely have to do that Target party. Wish I could be in two places at once sometimes! K.
