The stop at Dutton's has been cancelled. Sadly, the store is closing next month.
I'll try to remember to take lots of pics of my stops at Eso Won (L.A.) and Marcus Books (Oakland) and post them when I get back.
In the meantime, please stop by Shauna's place and check out the great interview she did with yours truly!

Excellent interview!
when r u coming to atlanta?
I wrote a review about your book.
I saw that you were scheduled for Dutton's and wondered about that. I spent a long time wandering around in that Dutton's last summer when I was visiting my brother. It was such a unique place, I am sad to see it go even after one visit. It was much more a book MALL than a book store with its meandering rooms surrounding the courtyard.
That reminds me--when I was a kid and we lived in Boulder, there was a used book store in an old house across the street from the famed "Mork and Mindy" house. Is it still there? We spent hours wandering around in there many times. It was probably my favorite family outing.
Bummed about Duttons on both counts. And then I notice that I missed you at Eso Won . . . gah.
But I just started the book and I am so LOVING it.
Happy trails, Carleen! Bring us back some of that CA sunshine. K.
I just finished your book yesterday and loved it. Enjoyed the interview also and it reminded me to check out your non-fiction books. Am looking forward to reading the one on aging.
One of my favorite indie bookstores ever is/was in Seattle, a two-story bookstore-coffee shop, about two blocks away from the water's edge. I hope it's still open.
Toshspice, Sadly no plans for Atlanta as yet.
Julie, I'm not aware of that bookstore, but I don't spend much time in Boulder.
Moanna, I think you're talking about Elliot Bay Books and it's still open!!
