I've had this song from The Wiz in my heart all night! Imagine my delight at finding a video using this song celebrating the President-Elect already made.
Carleen, I'm beaming and crying. I can't stop! Ok I wasn't beaming during my root canal but somehow it wasn't as bad because Obama had won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so happy! I didn't think this would happen in my lifetime. And that it did. Lord thank you! I am so very happy!
My German editor emailed wishing she could vote--and that she was staying up all night watching the news. It's a brand new day, even beyond our own borders.
Glimpses of the Civil Rights Movement remind me of the feeling an era had ended with the passings of Coretta Scott King and Rosa Parks. Little did I know a new era was on the not-so-far horizon. I'm watching this video and reading these comments two weeks later and I'm still amazed!

I haven't stopped smiling all day and I've gone through all the kleenex in the house and half a roll of TP ;)
I can so feel a brand new day. My hope and joy cannot be contained. It's a happy time for all of us.
