- ORANGE MINT AND HONEY (One World/Ballantine, February 2008) was a Target Breakout Book and a selection of the Essence Magazine Book Club, Go On! Girl Book Club, APOOO Book Club, and Black Expressions Book Club. It was optioned by the Lifetime Movie Network (LMN). One World/Ballantine released my 2nd novel CHILDREN OF THE WATERS in June 2009. On the Pajama Gardener I sing me, me, me, me, me, me, me. White Readers Meet Black Authors is where I hit a few more notes.

Spa day
Took a trip with family and friends up to Idaho Springs the morning after the launch party.

Letting the grass die after we placed the boulders.
After
Blue flax, fire witch dianthus and California poppies-all drought-tolerant.
We also added drought-tolerant trees and shrubs.
Irises are good low-water plants too.
